This Data Logger can only be factory calibrated. To achieve the specified accuracy an interchangeable thermistor Betatherm 2.2K3A1B, with a specified error of +/0.2°C over the range 0 - 70°C and no more than +/- 0.4°C outside of that is used. This has a 10 year ageing specification which ensures long-term stability. Values are calculated with a ratiometric measurement using a reference resistor of 0.1% tolerance @ 25ppm/°C. The Steinhart-Hart equation transforms resistance into temperature. This design ensures that calibration can be guaranteed.
