Terms and conditions: If you use this website, you are regarded as having accepted the following General Terms and Conditions. This includes our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Sale where relevant, so please read and abide by them.


All items offered for sale through our website are priced in pounds sterling and are exclusive of VAT at 20%. Prices exclude postage & packaging & carriage – this is shown separately, where applicable, and is to UK mainland addresses only. We will advise of any charges for delivery to non-UK mainland addresses as necessary.

The price listed on the website for our product at the time of your order will apply to your purchase. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any manufacturing, supplier or transport increases. This also applies if the price shown on the website is wrong due to error or omission. We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard, Debit card, SagePay, or Bacs . Special Offers apply whilst stocks last.

Lead Time & Delivery

Many of our products are in stock and can be delivered next day. The lead time provided is normally three to seven days and is an estimate based on our own experience. We will endeavor to deliver the goods to you within this time frame. However, we will not be responsible for unexpected manufacturing or transport delays or any losses, costs, damages or charges you may suffer if we delay, or fail, in supplying you. At the point of delivery, you will be required to sign for acceptance of the goods. Once any goods have been signed for you will take full procession and sole responsibility for them. For any deliveries received that haven’t been delivered in their entirety, an enquiry must be made within 24 hours of receipt of delivery.

Someone must be available to sign for the goods during working hours and this person should be known to you. We will not be responsible where the person signing for the goods is not the person who has placed the order/paid for the goods or the incorrect address details have been supplied.

Delivery charges for all items (excluding emergency carts) is £9.95. Bulky or Heavy Items are charged on POA basis and delivery is added to the purchase price.

Shortage or Damage

All deliveries must be checked and counted upon delivery and checked against the delivery note. Any shortages or faults must be indicated on the delivery note, and/or reported immediately to Distinctive Medical Products. All deliveries must be opened and checked for damages/faults and missing parts and any claim in respect of the above should be made by telephone or e-mail to Distinctive Medical Products Ltd within 72 hours of the delivery: tel ~ 01928 571 801 or e-mail ~ info@distinctivemedicalproducts.com. Goods delivered damaged or faulty will be replaced by Distinctive Medical Products Ltd. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


When you purchase from a distance on-line or by e-mail (without having seen the goods at all) you have a statutory right to a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period from the delivery date when you can return the goods to us. You can return the goods to us and we will process a refund (excluding the delivery cost). The item must be returned to us safely within 7 days in the same condition as it was delivered to you i.e. in the original packaging, new, unused, unmarked etc. Alternatively, if you wish to have the return items collected by us we will be happy to provide a quote. Any item showing signs of damage wear & tear or mishandling will not be accepted by us. Please note: the cooling off return period does not apply to goods custom made in any way.

No credit or refund will be given for any goods ordered in error by the customer. No credit or refund will be given for any goods damaged due to incorrect handling or storage or due to any misuse by the customer.

Information & Specifications

All descriptions, drawings, pictures, colours and specifications are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products, as a result they may not be to the exact description of the drawing.

No claims will be entertained unless the above conditions are strictly adhered to. The terms of use shall be governed by, and construed fully in accordance with, the laws of the United Kingdom.

Intellectual Property

This site is owned and operated by Distinctive Medical Products Ltd (also referred to in these Terms as “we” and “us”). The information and materials appearing on the website (the “Content” ) are displayed for personal, non-commercial use only. All software used on the Website and all Content included on it (including, without limitation, Website design, text, graphics, audio and video, and the selection and arrangement of the Content) is the property of us or our suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written permission of the copyright holder. Except that you may download one copy of extracts from the Website on any single computer for personal, non-commercial, home use only, provided that all copyright and proprietary notices are intact.

You are prohibited from modifying Content or using the Content for any purpose other than as outlined in these Terms. This includes, without limitation, on any other website or computer network.

All goods are property of Distinctive Medical Products until full and final payment is received.
