The Cytotoxic Carrier tamper bag safely transports cytotoxic drugs to the hospital ward from the pharmacy. The bag is yellow making it easily recognisable that its use is for cytotoxic drugs only. This is in line with the ISOPP Standards of Practice Transport of cytotoxics guidelines. Features the message ‘cytotoxic handle with care return to the pharmacy’ printed on it in black.
The inside of the tamper bag is padded to protect items from being damaged as they are transported to different locations. Inserts can also be used to keep items upright and secure.
The durability of this bag is rated as heavy duty and has an expected life of up to 2000 cycles.
The bag is made tamper evident when the zip is locked into the yellow chamber and secured with a PS2 or PS4 Envopolyseals. This works in adherence to the Caldicott Report.
