The budget-friendly Wasp Thermal Printer is perfectly suited for times when you need to print just one label for a unit dose package, syringe, bag, bin, or chart. As powerful as it is efficient, it delivers quick, reliable, superior performance without wasted labels, wasted time or wasted dollars. 

Quick, easy setup! This printer can be setup and printing your labels in a matter of minutes. It interfaces flawlessly with our #5117 WASP Bar Code Labeling Software, which includes pre-formatted templates for all HCL labels, so you don't have to waste your time measuring and creating label specs. Labels can also be printed from Microsoft Word or other label printing software. And it’s perfectly sized for your workstation! This handy desktop-sized printer will not consume valuable space at your packaging and prep areas.

The Wasp Printer prints both direct thermal (DT) and thermal transfer (TT) labels. Thermal transfer labels and ribbons are available through our Resource Department. Labels are easy to access beneath the cover of the printer, and a cover support arm at the rear of the printer holds the cover open for greater convenience when loading labels.

Designed for use with 1" diameter label cores, the unit accepts roll feed, die-cut and fan-fold labels. An external media stand is available for use with 3" cores. Contact our Resource Department for ordering information.

All common bar code formats are available. Fonts and bar codes can be printed in four directions, eight different alphanumeric bitmap fonts and a built-in true type font capability. The printer includes a CD with printer drivers and printable documentation, power cord and adapter, and Centronics parallel cable.
