The Chest Trauma Trolley is ideal for A&E and critical care units as it provides a standardised approach when time is crucial. The trolley comes with a large identifier label for immediate recognition in an emergency. As well as standard drawer labels that are titled pericardiocentesis, open chest drain, seldinger drain and thoracotomy, this keeps the various drains organised and allows for the correct one to be located straight away. Use drawer dividers to keep contents segregated. Dividers help to increase organisation.

It is recommended for this trolley to have a breakaway lock as it ensures instant access for emergencies whilst maintaining a level of security when used with a numbered tamper evident seal. This trolley is compatible with MyKitCheck a digital compliance check platform that warns of soon to expire items and removing the need for regular full checks.

The Chest Trauma Trolley is available in the three different heights with a flat surface at the top that can double as a workspace for a sterile field. Keeping the trolley clean is simple as it features smooth surfaces made from HDPE polymer plastic that is corrosion resistant so it can withstand strong chlorine-based cleaners without risk of damage over time. The high strength-to-density ratio in HDPE polymers also makes it resistant to impacts. Avalo trolleys are entirely modular to enable full access for cleaning and should a component get damaged or, layouts and accessories need to change this can be done so at ease.
