Security Seals

Security seals provide the easiest, most affordable method of medical and drug product protection, error prevention and inventory control available. Use these medical safety fasteners on crash carts boxes and medical supply containers to deter tampering; on vials, bags and waste to keep contents fastened and secure; and on products that have been used or are ready to use to manage supply levels. This easily identifiable Red locking tag printed with the biohazard symbol is specially designed to facilitate the handling of hazardous waste. 

Prongs on this patented high density plastic fastener create a tear when they are slid off a sealed bag, indicating tampering has occurred. A small round tag holder on the tab allows a custom label to be affixed when the seal is closed.

This special-use lock is stronger than conventional seals and won’t break under normal pressure. Cutting is required to remove this specially marked safety device.

Consecutive numbering provides extra control and helps document supply usage. Easily add pertinent info such as contents, date, time and initials directly to the seal using a permanent marker.
