This unit dose medication packaging blister features a smaller footprint and is custom designed to fit medication cassettes used in OmniCell®’s OmniDispenser Module and & SureMed Unit Dose Medication Cabinets. This blister offers a unit dose packaging solution to all Omnicell users who are experiencing difficulties dispensing unit dose blister packages from OmniDispenser Modules. The overall blister size and cavity has been condensed for a great fit.

The Amber medication blister is made of plastic laminate and is designed to meet the latest USP packaging requirements. This PVdC laminate affords the highest in moisture barrier properties available today and provides the maximum in drug protection up to one year. It is recommended for maximum protection to a drug product; when packaging drugs for extended periods of time; or for environmentally sensitive drug products.

The Condensed Amber Extra High-Barrier Blister is designed for use with the Condensed Extra High-Barrier Foil Label. These labels are designed specifically for use with these blisters to provide the sealing to achieve one-year drug protection. The combination of blister and proper label affords the highest in moisture barrier protection properties - and meets the USP Class A package requirement, which is a 1-year expiration date from the date of packaging.
