- Min/max and high/low readings are a significant advantage over "current reading-only" glass thermometers.
- Triple display simultaneously shows maximum, minimum and current probe temperatures plus room temperature.
- Alarm feature provides alert when temperature rises above or falls below a set point. Alarm is programmable in 1° increments. Alarm continues to sound for up to 12 hours even if temperature returns to non-alarm range.
- Uses a solid-state probe, which eliminates mercury contamination in refrigerators. Probe is sealed in a miniature bottle (1" x 2-1/2") filled with nontoxic glycol. Solution is GRAS (generally recognized as safe) by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Eliminates concerns about incidental contact with food or drinking water.
- Accurately monitor temperatures with the enclosed "temperature-buffered" sensor. Bottle insulates sensor from rapid temperature changes when refrigerator door is opened.
- Sensor and 10' (305cm) cable perform accurately even when both are under water.
- Reads the surrounding temperature or probe temperature. The range is from -58° to 158°F (-50° to 70°C).
- Use to monitor liquids, air, gas or semi-solids in water baths, refrigerators, freezers, incubators and tanks.
- Case is made of high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
- 10' micro-cable permits refrigerator doors to close on it.
- Range is -58 to 158°F (-50 to 70°C) with a resolution of 0.1° and accuracy of ±1°C.
- Thermometer fulfills all CDC requirements.
- NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) calibrated! Serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided to indicate traceability to standards provided by NIST.
