This rugged and reliable narcotic measuring device delivers exceptional optics! The new black polycarbonate housing and double cemented glass optics improve image quality by reducing stray light. Blue painted prisms improve visibility of the scale. The unit features a sealed housing and eyepiece, making it IP65 rated dustproof/water resistant for use in any environment. It is water resistant to prevent condensation or damage to internal components from moisture.

The unit is easy to use! It requires no batteries and no power cord. Simply place a couple drops of sample on the sample prism, close the cover and point the unit toward a light source. Look into the eyepiece and take a reading. The unit features a large, easy-to-read scale for Brix measurement. Automatic temperature compensation provides accurate readings without correction tables or temperature measurement.

The % Brix range of 0 to 30% addresses numerous applications and medication types. The Refractive Index range is 1.3330 to 1.3811 to meet many of the measurement requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
