Condensed Extra High Barrier Foil Labels are designed for use with the Condensed High Barrier and Extra High Barrier Blisters to provide the sealing necessary to achieve desired drug protection. The combination of this label and the Extra High Barrier blister affords the highest in moisture barrier protection properties - and meets the USP Class A package requirement, which is a 1-year expiration date from the date of packaging. The combination of this label and the Condensed High Barrier Blister meets the USP Class B package requirement, which is a 6-month expiration date from the date of packaging.
The New Technology (NT) Label features a one-piece design that has adhesive only on the border of the label. No adhesive is applied over the medication cavity and lift-open tabs.
Instructions for printing text only using Microsoft® Word are available at no extra cost. Labels can be printed with text and a bar code using a pre-defined template included with our #5117 Bar Code Software for Unit Dose Labels. No label creation or setup is needed, all you do is open the template, type information on the label and print. For maximum print quality, use a printer that accepts at least 8.1mm thick paper.
Foil Laser Labels are available 4,000 labels per box, 100 sheets per box. Laser labels are packaged in a paperboard box for convenient storage and protection of labels.
Laser labels should be stored at 70° - 80°F and 50% relative humidity (±5%) away from heat sources and not exposed to direct sunlight. Labels should be stored in the room in which they will be printed at least 48 hours prior to printing. They are not to be used with thermal printers.
