WaspLabeler db Tracker™ barcode software makes it easy to design and print your own 1D and 2D barcode labels to help reduce errors and increase patient safety. This software stands on the foundation of the great WaspLabeler with enhanced features such as scan to populate label fields, reporting, and a searchable NDC database. This powerful and intuitive program allows you to move ahead full speed by implementing barcoded labels throughout your facility with fewer errors and greater patient safety.

Daily Backup, Reporting and Security

Capture important details easily using these reports: repackaged medication, drug approval, drug history, print history and more.

An automatic daily backup option allows for quick and easy data protection and retrieval, while the repackaged medication report serves as an electronic log, eliminating the need to maintain a daily paper log!

Using the pharmacist label approval/rejection feature, users can create admin roles to electronically mark labels as approved. An login security option can be utilized, which requires users to login when accessing the application. Administrators can assign specific security roles to various functions. For example, they can create a profile that only allows the user to print labels.

Printing

Labels can be printed to any laser, dot matrix, ink jet, or thermal printer using a standard Windows driver. Print in any color with color supported printers. The barcode printing software supports proprietary ZPL & EPL thermal printer language.

Wasp Labeler db Tracker can be used with any of HCL’s foil and paper labels for blisters. Easily place barcodes on unit dose packages to prepare for point-of-care scanning. In addition to the predefined HCL blister labels, the same program can create pre-pack, prescription, IV and bin labels!

Medication Safety and Error Prevention

Receive updates from NDC! The NDC drug database updates quarterly and software updates can be checked automatically each day at startup. And with access to the full NDC drug database, users can eliminate keystroke errors! This database allows users to scan stock drug bottle barcodes and populate the label fields with drug name, strength, form, route, manufacturer and package size.

WaspLabeler db Tracker software supports the following barcode symbologies: Code 39, Code 128, UCC-128, Code 93, Inter-leaved 2 of 5, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN/JAN-8, EAN/JAN-13, Codabar, MSI Plessey and PostNet barcodes.
